Coming from Anchorage it passes with Glenn hwy along
a fjord. Then George Parks hwy turns northwards reaching
a steadily rising mountain world. The crown of this area is
the majestic Mt. McKinley,the highest mountain
of North America with 20320 ft.
the visit of which is an absolute "must" to every Alaska traveller.
Above all, the animal world makes this visit so interesting.
There are moose, caribous and grizzlies as well as golden eagles,
wolves, foxes and other northern animals.
